The next exhibit at Gallery on 43rd Street is Shades of Light, oil paintings by local artist Marian Sallade runs Sept. 9 – Oct. 22, 2016 with the opening reception, Sept. 9, 6 to 9 pm.
Painting outside with unpredictable weather and bugs, the time of day, changing seasons with different responses to light all provide inspiration for her. Marian’s desire is to save the moment on canvas.
