This workshop series, which will span a 4 week period, is designed for the beginner and the seasoned yogi alike. If you are new to Ashtanga Yoga, you will find this workshop will help you gain a deeper understanding of the Ashtanga practice and will most certainly prepare you to practice the way Ashtanga Yoga was meant to be taught and learned: Mysore Style!
Workshop education will include:
-One dedicated session a week with 2 hours of workshop instruction, across the span of 4 weeks
-4 weeks of unlimited yoga classes at The Shala during the workshop timeframe (Sept 12 through Oct 10)
-A review of the history of Ashtanga Yoga, the eight limbs of yoga, the yoga sutras, and the asana of Ashtanga Yoga
