LC Celebrates Region’s First CLT Closing

After 2 years of rigorous community-informed planning and development work, the Lawrenceville Corporation is proud to announce that—as of today, Friday, February, 9, 2018–the first community land trust in Western PA now has its first homeowner!

The CLT is a seismic step toward a more equitable and inclusive region. Together with our team, EcoCraft Homes, Rothschild Doyno Collaborative, Palo Alto Partners and Regional Housing Legal Services, the LC is immeasurably excited to bring much needed permanently affordable housing tool to Lawrenceville and the City of Pittsburgh.

A most generous thank you to our partners for believing in our community vision of Housing for All: Henry L. Hillman Foundation, City of Pittsburgh – Mayor William Peduto, The Urban Redevelopment Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, State Senator Wayne D. Fontana, Bridgeway Capital, UPMC Health Plan, WesBanco, The Heinz Endowments, Duquesne Light, PNC Bank, District 7 – Councilwoman Deborah Gross, The Buhl Foundation, Fort Willow Developers, Allegheny Plywood, Grounded Solutions Network, and Burlington Associates on Community Development.
