This event commemorates the 152nd anniversary of his death. Lawrenceville native, Stephen Foster was born only blocks from Allegheny Cemetery.
This event is free, co-sponsored by the Allegheny Cemetery Historical Association and the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for American Music—featuring performances by Dr. Deane Root, students from St. Raphael School in Morningside, Lisa Bleil, and Scott Anderson.
