Event Details

Fired in Freedom is an exhibition of ceramic artwork fired in a wood kiln in Ravenna, Ohio. Kent State University Professor Emeritus Brinsley Tyrrell built the kiln on his property in 2011 with John Klassen and Megan Tuttle. Twenty-eight firings in less than four years have resulted in clay objects that range from contemporary sculptures to traditional pots. This guest-curated group show features work by artists from Northeast Ohio and Pittsburgh.

Exhibition is on view December 4th until January 2nd.

Closing reception will be held on Saturday, January 2nd, from 2–4PM at Revision Space: 5262 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Lights drinks & refreshments.
