Lawrenceville Sidewalk Sale

Mark your calendars! Lawrenceville is holding a neighborhood-wide Sidewalk Sale this Mother’s Day Weekend on Saturday, May 7, 2022, with sales, samples, and sips available starting at noon and ending at 4pm. An array of businesses will be participating with a variety of act

ivities, including: free live music at Thunderbird Music Hall, beer tastings at Bierport, sidewalk sale at retail favorites such as Pavement and Una Biologicals, wine tasting at Songbird Artistry, and so much more!

Lawrenceville Corporation is hosting the event in partnership with the small business community to encourage residents, businesses, and visitors to re-engage and celebrate with the business community as we welcome spring after a few tumultuous years brought by the pandemic. All are invited to join us as we shop local and celebrate what makes the Lawrenceville community unique and inviting.

Jessica Graves, owner of Una Biologicals, says, “I’m stoked to have a spring event that all the businesses can help promote – giving us a no-cost option for large scale marketing (get hashtagging folks!). It’s also a great opportunity for any business to host a sale, pop up, walk in, spring special, food tasting, discounted class, meet the pros, weekend giveaway – give it your own flavor! This is a celebration of our amazing neighborhood, a chance for all of us to connect, and an invitation to the greater Pittsburgh area to come hang out for the day.”

The event will coincide with Lawrenceville’s Artist Pop Up Market, 11am-4pm, at Radiant Hall (4514 Plummer Street), Attack Theatre (212 45th Street), and Ice House Studios (100 43rd Street). There will also be a one-time pop-up at Blackbird Studios, located at 3585 Butler Street. Lawrenceville Pop-up Markets aim to support hundreds of makers, artists, vintage sellers, food/drink vendors, and small businesses in selling their locally-made, handmade, or vintage goods. It’ll be the perfect day to take your loved ones out to brunch in Lawrenceville, view the amazing artwork at the markets, and shop local at one of the 170+ small main street businesses along Butler Street & Penn Avenue. Hope to see you there!
