The Lawrenceville Cookie Tour is back for it’s 28th year and we are so excited to welcome you to our neighborhood to kick off the holiday season and shop small! This annual event is a celebration of the holiday spirit and a way to support our diverse collection of restaurants, retail, coffee shops, bars, local organizations. barbershop, nail salons, service orgs, and more!
We invite our friends, neighbors, and newcomers to experience Lawrenceville in a whole new way!Β

The Lawrenceville Cookie Tour began 28 years ago…
Jay Bernard opened Jay Design in 1996 at 4603 Butler Street, a shop which specialized in handmade soaps that made their way to the shelves of Restoration Hardware, Bergdorf Goodman, and Neiman Marcus.
One holiday season, Jay came up with the idea to entice shoppers to the developing neighborhood with the promise of great gifts and homemade cookies. The event was a hit and it became an annual tradition in the district.

For an amazing twenty eight years, weβve been ringing in the holiday season by inviting folks to join us in Lawrencevilleβs business district to do their holiday shopping, meet our local business owners, and enjoy some homemade cookies. The Cookie Tour has grown into one of the largest and most sought-after holiday events in the entire region. Not only is it a festive extravaganza, but itβs also a lifeline for our cherished small businesses.
What to expect in 2025…
This year, we are making some slight changes to the event to ensure a successful weekend for visitors and businesses alike.
Printed and Digital Maps:
We will be printing and displaying maps as well as keeping a digital map up-to-date for visitors to utilize that weekend. The maps will feature each participating business and stop along the way plus details on other events and happenings that weekend.
Gift Wrapping Stations:
We will be offering free gift wrapping on any items purchased during that day in two or three stations set up along Butler Street in vacant spaces or businesses with ample space.
Resident Involvement:
We will work to involve the Lawrenceville community as a whole in the event to create a neighborhood feel to the event. This may include costumed characters engaging with shoppers for pictures, resident bake sales, and more ideas to come.
+ We will still offer free shuttle service along the route as well as free parking options for folks coming from outside the neighborhood.
Participant Registration & Sponsorships
This year, we have adjusted the registration fees to better align with the work that goes into participating in this event. The fees for registering as a Cookie Stop are now lower than the fees for being added as a Take-a-Break stop. This is an adjustment that we feel matches with the level of work that goes into each stop and still helps us run the event and all of the logistics involved.

Lawrenceville Corporation members will receive a $25 discount on their registration.
This year, we have expanded our sponsorship opportunities for businesses, organizations, corporations, and residents who are able to support this large scale community event that brings thousands of visitors to our neighborhood during the holiday season.
