Mark Mentzer is a Pittsburgh artist; thementzerstudio.com is a blog of Mark’s recent work.
Mark has exhibited in some 35 group and one-person shows nationally, receiving numerous awards for his work. Though his painting medium is oil, he is also dedicated to drawing, capturing the color/light/emotion from his surroundings. He has created at least one original drawing each day for more than 18 years and has catalogued an excess of 9,000 of his drawings.
Mentzer received a BFA in Art from Carnegie Mellon University, where he currently holds a position as a Professor of Design.
