An Evening at the Opera

Senti Restaurant and Wine Bar in Lower Lawrenceville will be offering a four-course tasting menu with wine pairing on Sunday, November 12^th, 2017 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, to benefit The Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera. Featuring Kevin Glavin, who will perform arias and songs throughout the evening, followed by a Q & A lead by Samuel Bozzolla.

Guests are welcome to enjoy an “Evening at the Opera”, while dining on Chef Antonio’s house-made kabocha squash filled ravioli served with brown butter and sage. Other courses include osso buco di maiale served with creamy polenta and gremolata, and tiramisu for dessert. Guest are welcome to savor Senti’s four course menu accompanied with wine parings for $75.00 per person. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera, in honor of the late Claudia Pinza.

Ms. Pinza, daughter of Ezio Pinza, was a voice professor at both Duquesne University and University of Pittsburgh in addition to running the Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera.  She was a former singer for the Metropolitan Opera, amongst other major American Opera Houses.  She remained an active board member of the Pittsburgh Opera up until late 2016.
